There is a Grammarly keyboard app, however, it's a bit tricky. Therefore, we recommend the following:
Grammarly (make sure you use www.grammarly.com/edu for the Library-provided premium version!) isn't configured to work on iPads or other mobile devices. However, there is a work-around that allows it to work perfectly on a mobile device.
When you log in to Grammarly from your iPad skip the Grammarly Keyboard app.
Instead, tap the "Share" icon (the up-arrow in Safari, or the dot-dot-dot in Chrome), you can click “Request Desktop Site” and it immediately works. See screenshot below.
- Great tip for iPad users!!! You CAN use Grammarly on the iPad, without the "keboard" app and with more functionality. It seems to all work.
- It really works! Thanks, this makes my life much easier!
- I continue to be baffled why Grammarly won't offer a standalone editor app on the iPad like they do on OS X. The keyboard is clunky, a pain to use, and doesn't help with large documents.
