There is a Grammarly keyboard app, however, it's a bit tricky. Therefore, we recommend the following:

Grammarly (make sure you use www.grammarly.com/edu for the Library-provided premium version!) isn't configured to work on iPads or other mobile devices. However, there is a work-around that allows it to work perfectly on a mobile device.

When you log in to Grammarly from your iPad skip the Grammarly Keyboard app.

Instead, tap the "Share" icon (the up-arrow in Safari, or the dot-dot-dot in Chrome), you can click “Request Desktop Site” and it immediately works. See screenshot below.

  1. Great tip for iPad users!!! You CAN use Grammarly on the iPad, without the "keboard" app and with more functionality. It seems to all work.

  3. I continue to be baffled why Grammarly won't offer a standalone editor app on the iPad like they do on OS X. The keyboard is clunky, a pain to use, and doesn't help with large documents.
