iBooks

Many textbooks at Lynn are given to students as iBooks that you read on your iPad. These are faculty-authored and developed by the Lynn University Digital Press. To access these books, your professor will provide you with an enrollment code in your Canvas course syllabus. Using that code, you can download the books in iTunes U under course materials. There is no charge for them.

e-Books

Your professor may also assign e-books for your course. They are in your Canvas course. There is not charge for them either.

Cengage for Graduate Students

If you are a graduate student, many of your textbooks will be part of an e-book package called Cengage Unlimited. You subscribe to the entire package of e-books for one price, and your textbooks come as a part of the package. You can read more about that here.

Textbooks

For other required texts, however, you will need to borrow them from the library or purchase them.

To BORROW a book: The library has copies of nearly all textbooks and other required books assigned in classes, available for 3-hour loan only behind the Information Desk.

To BUY a book: Go to Lynn's Campus Store, click on "Let's Get Started" then enter your term and find your courses. The books you need will be listed there. You can purchase them via that site if you wish. If your course tells you that no books are available to be purchased there, that simply means that your professor has assigned a Lynn-provided iBook or e-Book and it will be free for you.
