permalink, or permanent link, is a stable URL that will bring you directly back to your search result. When searching in the library catalog or databases, the URL at the top of your browser is only temporary. If you save the URL in your browser's address bar and then try to use it later to come back to an article you found, the line will not work, and you will not find your article! If you need to return to a specific result or share that result with others, find the permalink.

Almost every database available through Lynn University has a stable and permanent link, or "permalink," available for each article. Unfortunately, finding the permalink differs depending on what database you are using.
